Multifunctional machine Mm170Rm: not just maintenance

At Fieragricola 2026, the Merlo Group presented the “MM170RM,” a new operating vehicle under the TreEmme brand. Part of the “MC” range, these multifunctional tractors are powered by Deutz engines, delivering a maximum power of 158 horsepower and built on the Group’s experience in telescopic handlers.

A multifunctional machine

The “MM170RM” is also a multifunctional machine, but with increased power to 175 horsepower and a structure largely derived from the TreEmme “X” series forestry tractors. It features a spacious and quiet cab, front and rear lifts capable of handling up to 2.5 tons of load, and mechanical PTOs at both the front and rear.

All this is combined with a Merlo-designed brush cutter arm that can reach up to ten meters. In fact, it’s a vehicle capable of handling a wide variety of road maintenance tasks, yet capable of handling the heavy earthmoving work carried out on uneven and soft terrain typical of the forestry sector.
